[JDEV] jabberd hang

Hello.
Ihave recently discovered the subj:
jabberd (1.4.2) hangs when I'm sending a message to particular account.
The problem is that this account was never got online during about 2 months 
and was collecting about 20 messages every hour. Finally it's 
/var/lib/jabber/penza-gsm.ru/account.xml grown up to 1.5M. And then the 
jabberd has been restarted. :(( Since then every attempt to work with this 
account have a 98% probability of jabberd hang.
Is this normal or not?
