Yep, Luis is correct.  I've tested this and so long as the new user
authenticates against the external auth. method, a new jabber user is
created and you connect.  Although you may have trouble creating local
users that don't exist on the local server.

Also I recommend you upgrade to my latest code to fix a bug that caused
the script to crash if a user tried to change their password.
