duncan,
i tried compiling the pth included in the download and it did not work for
me on a win2k.
so i went to the gnu.org site and downloaded the 1.4 source of the pth (jus
type pth gnu in google).
i did a "configure", "make" andd "make install" on that. then i ran the
check "make check" to see if it was properly installed.
then i went back into the jabber dir and ran a configure, and make and it
worked fine.
hope it helps.
if anyone can tell me how to get msn-transport to compile under cygwin, i'd
appreciate it ... i get a ton of undefined refernce to xxxx for every source
file. it's a linking problem but i'm not too familiar with cygwin :( just
playing with stuff for now :). thanks in advance.
/r
