[JDEV] 2 Questions: Yahoo transport & cygwin

I've looked at the archives a bit and understood that I'm not the only one that can 

register to the yahoo transport.

>From what I've seen, work has started on a transport re-write that should solve

this problem. Is it still the situation or is there no hope?

If it is still in progress, is there need for help in testing / building?

Q2: are jabberd and all transports working properly on cygwin?

(If someone will list the parts that don't I might have some time 

to play with it after my end-of-semester tests...)
