Christopher-
I'm not personally doing any client dev in Ruby for Jabber, but I have
done some work on another (besides rjab-connection and jabber4r) library
for using the XMPP protocol with Ruby. While both libraries are useful in
their current fashion, I find them both insufficient for my goals and not
necessarily implemented in the Ruby Way (tm).
Unfortunately, mine libraries are far from complete, and still need a lot
of work. I really just wanted to chime in and let you know that people are
doing Jabber-related development for Ruby. :)
Cheers,
bs.
