Well, I use Gabber, too, because there are no others fitting into my
desktop, but you cant call it excelent yet:

- dropping/not displaying error messages (especially from agents)
- misshandling of messages from agents
- does not notice broken conenctions reliable
- user interface got better (setting groups) bit still is a bit unreliable

I am very satisfied with the Work of the Gabber guys and like to report them
and most of the time they fix the bugs quite quick.

But if you say "excelent" i just think we are not there, yet.

Under Windows I still miss a good client. JabberIM is a Unsupported Nitemare
and winjab is a bit complicated for simple IMing. I loved the IRC Access to
the Server, its quite interesting, but of course the client interface is a
bit unusual :)
