[JDEV] Jabber for browse platform

       Hello,

        I work as web programmer for a site about Linux
(www.olinux.com.br), one of the most important sites about Linux in
Brazil, and we would like to offer an ICQ-like service to our visitors.
So, we decided to use jabber to reach this desire. What client is better
for this purpose? I've already tried to install the jabberapplet, but it
didn't function. Can anybody help me? What steps should I follow to get
a jabberclient functioning on a browse platform like a ICQ service?
