[JDEV] anonymous transport - controlled access for webbased clients

Hello,

Ages ago (around 1.2) there was some talk of integrating some kind of 
restricted anonymous access functionality into the jabber server.  This 
access would provide hooks for propriatry validation and would permit 
restricted tag access to the jabber 'network'.

I've had a squiz in 1.4 and can't see it anywhere obvious, have i missed 
it?  is it on the cards?
