[JDEV] Registing ICQ on client

Hmm.. odd that your having that problem, because your IQ request is
structured correctly. Does it return anything at all? I copied your exact IQ
request and it works how its supposed to.

Hi I am working on a simple jabber client, I am programming in Java.

My problem is that the registering of the ICQ and MSN transports does not
seem to take place.

The initial stream of the request

<iq type="get" id="Reg1" to="icq.jabber.org"><query
xmlns="jabber:iq:register"></query></iq>

does not get any return type set with instructions. In fact here I get
nothing.

What could be the problem. Everything else is working absolutely fine.
I am also using a plain text password, is that the problem

Any help would be appreciated.
