[JDEV] jabberd dying...

Hi,

I am attempting to run the jabber server 1.4 on my RH7
linux box.  I type in:

nohup ./jabberd/jabberd -h <my host> &

in the hopes that it will start up and keep going. 
But, when I logout of the window that I ran that
command in, the jabberd dies.

I get the line in error.log:

20010217T01:18:22: [alert] (stdout): Parent PID has
changed, Server Exiting

How can I get around this?  I would like to just leave
it running in the background...
