Ok. It's showing me the registering button now, but give me error type "406"

I was having the same problem,

I tried the add <host>bla.bla</host> and it did not work...

What I found fixed it for me was this-

I simply added this to the "service type" section under the gateway and
register lines

<ns>jabber:iq:search</>

And then I added this under the "service id" section (under the instructions
line)

<search>Search for ICQ users</search>

Then restart the server and it should work fine !!
