On a second and closer reading, I cannot agree with the concept of storing
the private keys on the server.
It's too much like "key escrow".  Bad guys with password crackers can
ostensibly run them against the private keys and  obtain access to the key.

Would it be practical to pick up public keys from a key server, plus adding
the ability to use a PGP secret key disk?
