Suppose I'm invisible, and I'm IM-ing both yourself and Matthew about 
XEP-0198, and we realise we should take this discussion to jdev at . By 
joining that room, I know that everyone there will know I'm online; but 
I still don't want everyone else in the world to know I'm online.

Of course, someone in jdev@ could leak my true availability. But so 
could you or Matthew, when I was speaking to you privately.
