[jdev] XDB Component in Java

Looking for a starting point for developing/enhancing an XDB based component in Java for a customized high speed authorization engine ..

Any recommendations ?

Anything more recent than .. http://sourceforge.net/projects/xdbjava ( last touched in 2001)
