<snip/>

The jabberd14 server sends me this when I go for s2s -

<stream:stream xmlns='jabber:server' xml:lang='en'
xmlns:stream='http://etherx.jabber.org/streams'
to='xmpp.geodesiconline.com' from='jabber.org'
xmlns:db='jabber:server:dialback' id='C0D77A781679' version='1.0'>

Its sending an ID in the initial stream itself (when its the
originating server). I thought the ID would be sent in the stream by
the receiving server.

The jabberd2 server at pandion.be sends version=1.0, but doesnt offer
TLS+SASL in stream features.

I'll file bug reports at the respective places.

and +1 for removing dialback altogether from the RFC.

Regards,
Vinod.
