I am VERY interested! I have it on my TODO list to add this as one of the
interfaces for punjab[1]. 

Punjab has an xmlrpc and a REST like interface. 
I have started a javascript one too.

I may ditch them all for this JEP though. 

You are welcome to help! Punjab is implemented in perl. I hope that is ok. :)
