Yeah, the former developer of Webmessenger, a Free multi-protocol web IM
client, went commercial and built a pure jabber webclient. It's a pretty
good one too, i tried it when it was in beta stage, and liked it a lot.
It didn't work on Safari or Konqueror back then, don't know if that
changed. 
But unfortunately, i lost most of my interest when i found out that it
wouldn't be free software. There will be free non-commercial personal
downloads though.
