JEP-0096 is just a negotiation.  JEP-0065 for actually transferring the file 
data.  Both are part of the 'modern' solution. :)

You should talk to the author about this, as it might be worth making proxy65 
portable.

Proxy65 is the only server implementation I'm aware of.
