Hi there.

Usually i don't comment much in here but i have a free minute and want 
to add my two words ;)

I think both cases make sense:
p2p
client2server2client

of course it is nice to ring the IP of another jabber user directly. 
this makes sense and is more secure.
On the other hand, as for example in yahoo, the voice-groupchat thing is 
used by many people. And it is working fine... and usefull, too.
Whatever often some words are not understood over voice, a groupchat in 
combination makes still MUCH sense.

Suggestions:
- use same voice protocoll for both, p2p and client2server2client
- integrate the groupvoice chat as 'optional' MUC extension! (admin can 
decide if MUC will make it available)
