[jdev] JabberApplet - Dead or Alive?

You say this has already been solved and to search the
archives... 

I did search the archives and the only thing I found
was about possibly getting a domain name via
dyndns.org. Ok, I did that but still couldn't get
JabberApplet to work. The problem this time is the old
Applet sandbox security

Did I find the wrong archive - is this what you were
referring to. If so, with applets it can't work
because of security (or am i missing something).

If this is not the archive you were talking about,
please give me a hint (search word) so I can find it.

Lastly, I did go in and change my configuration files
so Jabber would be expecting messages to the IP
address (and not localhost as before). Still didn't
work.

I would love to get this to work since I'm looking for
a simple applet that I can customize/integrate into a
webbrowser to meet a clients needs. JabberApplet looks
simple and best of all lightweight!

I'm on Jabber2.
