But you know that it's not enough just to remove the item from the
roster? I think with JIT your registration is not even fully deleted if
you unregister with the transport (something that is only supported by a
few Jabber clients).
I only got JIT to reimport the contacts after I removed my own
JIT-spool-file and restarted JIT.
