yes, that's exactly my problem :(

as i told you the test_client demo suplied with the package works without
problems
and the code of my script is mostly from there, i'm very sure is a problem
of mine
becouse i also tested with Net::Jabber and got the same behaviour :(
Please can you check my script just to be sure that it works and it is
a problem not related with code per se??

Pd: Do you know any place where i can ask interactively (irc, jabber
chatgroup)???
