I'm not sure if he's talking about HTML-only messages, or ones with HTML
*and* text versions. HTML-only messages are nasty, but I'm prepared
to ignore your HTML attachments if you're prepared to ignore my PGP
attachments :)

Enabling HTML e-mail means giving various bad guys more avenues of
attack (e.g. spammers are known to put tiny GIFs in their HTML e-mail so
they can track who reads their messages by who downloads the GIF). If
you send HTML-only messages, you give me the choice of ignoring your
message or hoping that you're one of the good guys while my web browser
loads up.
