Oh, I don't see why this must be an issue. I'm a fan of different pieces of 
software, I love Flash regardless of whether it is open source or not. I 
love xmlSpy and CuteFTP and Apache and php. I just don't really care as long 
the software/hardware does the job I want it to do.

Doesn't anyone want to get into how to use video/audio with jabber rather 
than this open source stuff? When someone else is using a client that can 
play mp3's  and I contact them, I'm highly unlikely to care how they manage 
to hear the song, I only want them to hear the song. It can't be possible 
that I shouldn't be able to hear it because my software isn't open-source is 
it?
