jup. you are right. i thought about this once but it realy makes not
much sense. the data flood is exactly what's my problem, too.
Imagine to simply make some shell access over jabber.
for each submitted byte you must send a whole
<iq><blahblahblah/></iq>
that increases the networktraffic x100 or something and it would be
damn slow.
whatever for some small things it might be usefull even. for example
for file access/file sharing or simple system status messages.
