Hi Dave,

  I think the issue they are trying to make is that they want a system
  that will work with both solutions like php and java. The reason this
  could become an issue is that in the case of flash and java, they may
  not be allowed to connect back to a daemon because of a firewall in
  the way - its the fun world of firewalls and NAT'ing again :)
