Hi Sebastian,

  I agree with mostly everything you have said, although also still need
  to have a way to provide accountability. Accountability doesn't have
  to mean that everyone knows a persons true JID, but there has to be a
  way to tie events together, so an admin can take appropriate action in
  the case of misuse.

  I remember the old quote of how it is a priviledge to use a service,
  not a right. Likewise, priviledges come with responsibilities.
