Many thanks to all who have responded, both on and off list. I have enough
information to make the decision as to how to proceed with this project. For
those interested, we will initially look to contract for a commercial
service -- current contenders are AIM and MSN and I am talking with Jabber,
Inc. today -- for the initial implementation, and will investigate the open
source alternatives in the background.
