In a mail I send earlier this month (or last month), I talked about
Microsoft shutting down their old msn protocol server. This was at
that moment not true just a temp. Crash of a server. MSN 5 and up
where still running. Now how ever it seems that MS will shut down
their old msn server:

If have also be receiving e-mail form MSN-Passport to upgrade my MSN
messenger (which I don't have installed I use jabber ;P). If I don't
do so I will not be able to connect any more.
Soon it seems that a new MSN gateway is now even more wanted as
befor. Seen de MSN mail bellow:
