[JDEV] Wireless Village - Jabber Gateway

Hello,

I have just started looking at Jabber as a possible IM solution for my
project.  Does anybody know if there is a Wireless Village -> Jabber
gateway available?  If not, would it be a lot of effort to write one? 
Does the Jabber architecture make it reasonable to do this kind of
stuff?  I am an experienced Java developer and not afraid to get my
hands "dirty!" :)
