Hi Sonia,

Note: I work for Winfessor, so this is a plug for a corporate SDK.

The Winfessor SDK for Jabber/XMPP (found at www.winfessor.com
<http://www.winfessor.com/> ) can be used for developing a client for
Windows CE. Download the Mobile version of the SDK, which has a sample
client that will run on either the PocketPC or Windows CE. The source
code for the sample client come in both VB.NET and C#, and should be
very easy for you to modify into a client that more suits your needs.

Our SDK uses the .NET Compact Framework, and Visual Studio.NET. To
develop a Windows CE client using our SDK, you'll need to have Visual
Studio.NET 2003 (just released this past week).

If you want more details, please send an email to
"support at winfessor.com", or post the question to our forums
(http://www.winfessor.com/forum/). Once you've done development using
the .NET Compact Framework and VS.NET, you'll never go back to eMbedded
VB!

Subject: [JDEV] Jabber Client for Windows CE....Help!!

Hi All,

I need to develop a Jabber Client for WinCE devices...working with
eMbedded Visual basic 3.0 presently, I have no idea whatsoever as to how
should I proceed about writing the Jabber portion...I downloaded the
Jabberoo Library for assistance, but all in vain cuz its throwing fatal
errors...Could anyone suggest me as to what exactly I'd need to
accomplish my goal, what Libraries I may download to ease this job, and
basically brief me as to how should I go about things.

Thanks a million! Awaiting an earliest reply back!

Regards / Sonia.
