Ah, didn't see these anywhere.  Is it in any of the working drafts?

Well what I really wanted to get consensus on is the right name to use 
for clients.  I guess we're all in agreement on _jabber-client._tcp 
prefix for the time being?

So I'm guessing you've got pieces of BIND or similar in your application 
then, and your doing the SRV query yourself?  Have been trying to avoid 
doing that here...
