[JDEV] Can I change the password of a Jabber User ?

[r-a-v-i-v-e-d-a-l-a]

Has any observed the following :

If i give userid1 / password1 ....a new user is getting created at jabber.

if i give userid1/password2  ....then also a new userid with different password is getting created at jabber.

I am able to access the same account with two passwords.

Can anybody tell me how to restrict this ?

              Not manually at the jabber server.
    What i meant was via a jabber client !

      Change the password in the user's xml in spool directory
