JabberIM supports text formatting by adding XHTML into the message packet
it sends out. By default, it will assume that all clients support text
formatting. However, if you're chatting with a client that doesn't send
embedded XHTML, it will realize that the client you're chatting with
doesn't support text formatting, and turn-off this feature in the client.

So, what you're seeing is a somebody sending you a message from a client
that doesn't support text formatting. The message you're seeing is simply
JabberIM informing you that it is disabling text formatting for the
duration of this chat session. Make sense?

Cheers,

Ben
