You can have a look at
ftp://fachschaft.imn.htwk-leipzig.de/pub/multi/net/jabber/ for some
very outdated patches (merely hacks). I'm very sorry that's all I've
got but the positive thing is that if I haven't preserved any patches
for later versions there wasn't much tweaking needed. Using the
gcc-3.0.3 binary packages from sunfreeware.com one doesn't even need
to work around socklen_t and others any more.
