Sounds interesting too. What are the goals of your implementation? One 
important point for my improvements of Jeremie's transport was to 
support non-ASCII characters (not finished yet) and to support spam 
detection (I have implemented an interface to call other software for 
this and I'm using SpamAssassin (-> http://spamassassin.org/) at my own 
server for this).

What is the language of jsmtpv2?
