I will use the appropriate mod_jabber files instead and try to follow
the jep etc. as needed.

Ok.  There is just a problem or two ;-).  Because of firewall
restrictions I can use neither jabber nor the cvs pserver protocol.
As things will be small I will send patches/source if someone wants
them.
