[JDEV] Invisibility and transports

Hi All,

I recently added support for invisibility to Gaim's Jabber plugin.
When a user whose contacts are all on transports tested it, he reported
that:

    "All of my contacts went offline (to me). I can no longer
    send messages to them (dialog says "error 404, not found",
    but I can continue to recieve messages from them.  That's
    for contacts using the gateway msn.theoretic.com."

I'm *assuming* he set server-wide invisibility (as opposed to on one
contact only), though I haven't asked yet.  Before I go any further:
are there any known issues with interactions between invisibility and
transports that might account for what he's reporting?
