yeah, that's right ...

the number of users you can handle is more limitated by the number of
connections you can handle than by the xdb backend you use.
so using xdb_file should not be a problem ...

err, no ...
but with the dtd=2 method, you can add support for a new namespace in
about 15 minutes ...
