[JDEV] Keep-Alives

My point is mostly that the Keepalive is a false sense of hope, it
doesn't really add anything in the long run to the real problems. 
Guaranteed delivery and possibly heartbeat are needed to really solve
the problems.  But, it depends on what you are trying to solve I guess.
