This is correct behaviour. There are many reasons why you wouldn't want to
do this, the most obvious one is virtual hosting. For example, say
company1.com, company2.com and company3.com all use the same Jabber server,
all bound on the same IP. If a client comes along with an IP instead of
hostname, which one should they be redirected to?
