[JDEV] 1.4.2-test tarball, HTTP proxy, and zero-k auth case sensitivity

Compiled with no probs under Solaris 2.6 gcc v2.95.2
Seems to run (i.e out the box, no config changes from default,
i.e. doesn't immediately crash ;)
