[JDEV] Jabber server connection to external database

Dear all,

I am using jabber server 1.4.1 and i am developing my
own jabber client using jabber beans.  

I have two questions.
1.I want to connect to server database using jabber
server.  Before sending any messages i need to check
the database values and depending upon the values i
need to send messages to some specific users. Is it
possible
2.  Also, i want to store each specific chat session
to my server database
