[JDEV] Authentication of users on two host

did you try to move <ns>jabber:iq:auth:0k</ns> and
<ns>jabber:iq:auth</ns> in the second xdb entry ?
if you leave these namespaces in the first entry, clients will always
authenticate on the first host ...
