[JDEV] send nothing ? -was : Type of connection used for a jabber server

You can send (ignorable) whitespace, which does not affect the parsing 
of the document. So some clients will send a space, a tab, or some 
combination thereof to the server once a minute to prevent any proxy 
in-between from detecting it as a dead connection and severing it.
