[JDEV] jabber-1.0 users !!!

As far as I know, there is no way to scale up to 1 or 2 million users
with Jabber Server 1.0.  Heck, it's probably not even easy (or possible?)
with 1.2, because (again AFAIK) we don't have server farming code in
there. I suppose with 1.2 you could set up subdomains on different
machines or scale up with some kind of homegrown server farm/load
distribution scheme -- has anyone else tried this?

Just curious, are you talking about registered users or concurrent users?
