Hi Michael,

Your points about the website are well-taken! We need to improve the
site and what you suggest is on the list (or is *now*). :)

Linux clients you might be interested in:

Gabber -- http://gabber.sourceforge.net/ -- this the premier Linux
client

Kit -- http://kitclient.sourceforge.net/ -- this does not have Jabber
support yet but it's being worked in
