[JDEV] Jabber Linux Clients

What clients are available and which are the best?

Specifically, I'm running RedHat 7 and KDE2 -- is there one in-progress for KDE2?

I checked out the Projects page on jabber.org, but in all honesty, it's not the most useful listing. For one thing, unless your psychic, you really have no idea what each project is unless you visit that page. And that get's tiring. Especially if you're trying to find a client based on QT Another thing, Some of the pages don't even have a link to a web page providing more information or even letting you download it ...

Ooops, sounds like I'm complaining. Let me try that again -- I'd like to suggest adding a description to the projects page, or at least one line of it to help people more quickly ascertain the purpose of the project. Also, it would be nice to have them categorized into a hierarchy perhaps something like:

Server
   Transports

Clients
   Linux
   Windows
   Web

or something.

Thanks.
