[JDEV] libjabber.so.1: cannot open shared object file

        libetherx.so.1 => not found
        libxode.so.1 => not found
        libpth.so.13 => not found
        libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x4001b000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40032000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40036000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

All the "not found" libraries are in /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/lib is in the
global PATH. There's something simple I'm not doing.........
