[JDEV] cool idea needs help

Dear Jdev-ers,

I hope that this it is not an inappropriate posting. I am a strong believer
in open-source IM, having been a (silent) list subscriber since November
(silence due to tech novice-ness). I have a really cool idea for a new kind
of IM community, and I want it to be Jabber-based.

Does anyone who lives in New York City have time to meet this Sunday
afternoon for an  hour? I want to double-check my understanding of what
Jabber can do, and I am hoping to find a tech partner for the project, as I
finalize the business plan.
